Featherstone Studio is a full service print, web, UI and UX studio located in beautiful Charleston South Carolina. We design websites and print pieces, write copy, build complex marketing campaigns, establish new brands, and revive existing ones.
Originally trained as a fine artist, principal Susie Acheson has 25 years of experience in the field, and is a creative executive who has managed groups of up to 75 people. While Creative VP at BlueMountain.com, she helped drive the site to top ten status, and brokered content and marketing deals with companies such as Levis, Samsung, Warner Brothers and Hewlett Packard. The company eventually sold for over 800 million dollars. Susie went on to serve as Creative VP at American Greetings Interactive, and oversaw content and marketing which led to the acquisition of over one million paying subscribers in just one year.
She went out on her own in 2003, and has worked with dozens of companies since, from individuals launching their own brands, to huge nonprofits.
As Creative head at Blue Mountain, Susie received a Webby Award and a Print Interactive Design prize.
