I've been working with Territory (née Power Supply) for many years. I write copy, conceive campaigns for ads and social media, do all their swag and print collateral, signage, and packaging.
I have been MommeMeals brand consultant and designer since its inception. I designed their logo, help write copy, and have produced their packaging designs and collateral.
I have been designing stationery for more than 15 years, for companies from American Greetings to Snapfish, Minted and Cardstore. I also have done many bespoke invitations and announcements for individual clients - all of these are custom projects.

To establish the brand and create a pitch piece useful in convincing landlords and potential investors of the project’s viability, I created a logo, tagline, and a simple, attractive brand brief.
I also consulted on the shop’s interior design, and designed a website, signage, packaging, bags, tshirts and more.
For Multiple James Beard Award winner, restaurateur, author, chef and Top Chef Judge (and pretty good brother :) Hugh Acheson, I designed his own site, as well as those for his flagship restaurant, Five and Ten, and the Atlanta location, Empire State South.

For this amazing mansion/museum, the home of DC’s first brewer, I designed a logo and series of promotional posters for their events, in which tours of museum are accompanied by beer tastings.

Client and non-profit powerhouse AARP Digital hosts a day-long summit every year, attended by their agency and freelance partners, as well as staff. Every year has a different theme, which I take to develop a logo, posters and copy for the event. This project is one of the most fun I get to do in the year.
Themes have included Retro London Tube, Rock Concert, and Hunger games.
Here are some of the posters..

“Susie is that rare combination of design skill and conceptual acumen that makes for outsized impact. She's inhabited our brand and brings it to life not only visually but also with messaging and copy ideas that sharpen our voice. She's clever as hell, willing to challenge for a better result and has a flair for the irreverent and unexpected.”
Robert Morton

I have done work for non-profit advocacy group AARP for three years now. Working for the Digital Strategy division, I develop concepts for online marketing campaigns, including writing copy, and create suites of online ads for AARP.org and external placements.

Artreach is a bay area non-profit which provides art experiences to under-served children and adults. The founders, Marianna Green and Jill Miller, both mothers themselves, host Art-Moms in residence programs where beleagured mothers can escape and make art in peace. They also have a truck that goes out in the community so that children can interact with art and art supplies in situ.
I named the group, did their logo and brand brief, as well as designing their website.
